By creating a SoulSync account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use SoulSync. These Terms form a binding contract between you and SoulSync.
SoulSync is a private space between two people. You agree not to:
If we find evidence of any of the above, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately and, where appropriate, report to law enforcement.
You own everything you put into SoulSync — messages, photos, videos, voice notes, notes, capsules, instants. Because content is end-to-end encrypted, we couldn't claim ownership even if we wanted to.
You grant us a narrow technical licence to store, transmit, and display your encrypted content for the sole purpose of operating the service for you and your partner. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
SoulSync offers a free tier and three paid plans. Pricing in Indian rupees:
All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. You manage and cancel subscriptions in those platforms' settings, not inside SoulSync.
Prices include applicable GST. We reserve the right to change prices with at least 30 days' notice; existing subscribers keep their current price for the remainder of their current billing period.
You can cancel any subscription at any time through Apple/Google's subscription management. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you keep Plus features until then.
Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's refund policies. We don't directly process refunds. For exceptional circumstances (e.g. duplicate charges, technical issues that prevented you from using the service), email us and we'll help you request a refund through the relevant store.
The compose-message, captioning, and similar AI features in SoulSync are suggestions. The output is generated by a third-party large language model and may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or generic. You decide whether to send it. We don't claim copyright in AI-generated text and can't guarantee its uniqueness.
Don't use AI features to fabricate content attributable to your partner, deceive them about important facts, or generate content that violates these Terms.
SoulSync integrates with: Supabase (hosting), Apple/Google (auth, push, payments), an OpenAI-compatible AI provider (optional), and free Google STUN servers (for video calls). When you use those features you're also subject to those providers' terms.
You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete account. Within 7 days we permanently erase your data (this is irreversible).
We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, fail to pay, or for legal reasons. We'll give reasonable notice unless doing so would cause ongoing harm.
SoulSync is provided "as is". We don't promise it'll be bug-free, available 100% of the time, or that AI suggestions will be appropriate to your relationship. We don't promise that messages will always be delivered instantly, especially on poor networks.
SoulSync is not a safety device. The SOS button writes a record and dials emergency services on your behalf, but you should always call emergency services directly in a real emergency. Don't rely on SoulSync as your sole safety mechanism.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoulSync's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) ₹1,000.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of profits, emotional distress, or relationship outcomes resulting from messages sent or not sent through SoulSync.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. If you're a consumer in the EU/UK, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply alongside these Terms.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
